History of Kyiv yard

The historical part of Kyiv was mainly built during the first (1895-1905) and second (1911-1914) construction booms. Kyiv did not become a city of developed capitalism, like other cities of historical Europe, with its completed quarters. Only apart from the “Kyiv Paris” – a quarter, built on the territory of former farmstead of professor Mering in the district of modern Instytutska, Olgina, Horodetskyi and Khreshchatyk streets.
